Adult Faith Enrichment Board
The role of this Board is to assist community members
in their lifelong spiritual journey --
— to know the peace of being in touch with
the Lord,
— to develop individuals' potential for making
a positive difference in this world,
— to promote a closer walk with the Lord in
all the areas of one's life,
— to unlock the richness of our Catholic Faith.
Adult Faith Enrichment activities include --
• small groups -- of varying durations -- September
to May; four and six week groups,
• Lenten groups, between Sunday Masses, in homes,
daytime, evening, etc.
• retreats, days and evenings of recollection,
• guest speakers in spirituality, scripture, Catholic
teaching,
• professionally designed workshops such as Bible
Time Line, the Journey in Faith for those interested
in entering the Church,
• professional Christian dramas,
• Liturgy of the Hours,
• Simple Suppers during Lent,
• training for ministry,
• assistance for parents whose children are preparing
for the Sacraments
Small Faith-Sharing Group Ministry
Board
Community members who have facilitated small groups
and have been trained in small group methods coordinate
the small group ministry. The group meets once a month
to coordinate promotion, membership, support, training
and group formation.
