"Confirmed in a Faithful Community"
is the program we use for confirmation preparation.
All students whose families are registered at JGS
entering 9th grade receive an invitation to enter
this program. The deadline for registration is Covenant
Sunday.
Confirmation Kickoff Sunday is where candidates,
their parents and sponsors (if known) will meet to
begin this preparation. Following this event we will
begin our first small group meeting.
The Sacrament
of Confirmation will be celebrated in the Spring (date will be announced when notification is
received from the Archbishop).
Volunteers are needed
for: homes for small group every other week, Confirmation
mentors and sponsors, help with retreats, chaperones,
and help in the kitchen for various events. Duties
are varied depending on events.
