If you don't know where you are going, you will probably end-up somewhere else. How many of us would begin a trip without looking at maps, navigation devices or Google? But that's what many of us do when it comes to our spiritual journey; we're set on "automatic pilot." Because of that, we fail to stop and check our spiritual GPS--Holy Scripture--to make sure we are headed in the direction God wants us to go. It's in Scripture where we come to know Jesus Christ, who is The Way.

Walking with Purpose was created by Lisa Brenninkmeyer to help Catholic women develop a closer and deeper relationship with Christ through studying His word, as well as through the Catechism, prayer, the lives of the saints and fellowship with the women in our class. Thanks to Vicki Wenderlich, a parishioner who introduced this program to Jesus the Good Shepherd, many women have grown closer to their Savior and gained a greater appreciation for their Catholic faith, and have also formed new friendships in the process.

Walking with Purpose gently urges us to take the biggest step of all--loving and knowing our Lord not only with our minds, but with our hearts and souls. We are asked how we can apply the lessons to our daily lives and relationships, and this is life-changing. Because of Walking with Purpose, women have come to know and love Jesus Christ in a new way.
