Parents,

We welcome your youth to Confirmation Preparation at Jesus the Good Shepherd!

Confirmation Preparation sessions are at 6:20-8:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings. We meet approximately two times per month in a group setting.

The most important part of the Confirmation Preparation is weekly participation at Sunday Mass. Please be faithful in bringing your child to Mass each week.

In the Archdiocese of Washington, sacramental preparation for Confirmation takes place over two years beginning in the 8th grade and continuing in the 9th grade. If your child did not enroll in Catholic Faith Formation during their 8th grade year, please email/call me to discuss options for your child.

If your child is in 10th/11th/12th grade and has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, please contact me so that we can come up with a plan.
